A Marketing Plan incorporating Transmedia

Increasingly, the onus is on authors to self-market, while publishing houses struggle to find the time and money to promote all the books in their catalogue. But with careful planning, authors and marketers can work together to execute an effective and relatively easy marketing plan that doesn’t overwhelm either party. That basic plan can be supplemented with transmedia content, if the author and publisher are willing to make the additional investment.

Time is a crucial element in the Blue Thread Universe. For my final class project, I created a transmedia marketing plan with an content-rich interactive timeline as its centerpiece.
